also elearning
also elearning is a Grade 12 equivalency/high school credit program offered at Heartwood House.
also elearning prepares learners for post-secondary college education, apprenticeship, and work.
The program is open to learners who:
- are 19 or older
- meet the assessment criteria
- complete a writing sample
- make a commitment to attend regularly and show steady progress
Learners who meet the entrance criteria can join the program at any time of the year, and will work at their own pace through the curriculum.
Classes are held in a small classroom setting with individualized learning and support from the also teachers.

Learners who have children under 6 are welcome to use the Children's Program.
